At Disley Meadow your safety is paramount to us. While canal kayaking is a very safe pass time it is important that you watch the safety video.

 

The Peak Forest Canal has an average depth of 4ft (1.25m) but that can vary in places.

We will provide you with a rigid, sit on, double kayak and oars. We will also provide you with a life jacket, a first aid kit and a copy of your/our permission for you to use the watrerway. It is up to yourself to bring anything else suggested in the video such as food and drink, antibacterial hand wash, a water proof satchel for your phone and a bag of some sort to carry your belongings in.
